The Society for Public Health Education (SOPHE) is a 501 (c)(3) professional organization founded in 1950 to provide global leadership to the health education and health promotion profession, and to promote the health of all people.

SOPHE is the only independent professional organization devoted exclusively to health education and health promotion across all settings. The Florida SOPHE Chapter strives to implement the initiatives of the National SOPHE organization. The Florida SOPHE chapter will be the professional organization of choice for health educators within the state of Florida.
